Let’s Get Real:
Strategies to Lead with Authenticity and Connection

Many of us are wondering: When it comes to our professional lives, where’s the line between authenticity and oversharing? How do we show up as our true selves at work without making our jobs harder?

In this interactive keynote, we will:

  • Explore how authenticity evolves over time and in different settings — you don’t have to share with every single person, everywhere, in exactly the same way

  • Celebrate the stories of people and organizations who are effectively navigating authenticity at work

  • Leave motivated and inspired as we embrace our differences and create a sense of belonging and connection

My philosophy

Bringing greater authenticity to work can feel intimidating as hell — both as the employee and employer.

But, according to PWC (the artist formerly known as PricewaterhouseCoopers), people are leaving their jobs in droves in part because they don’t feel like they can be their true selves at work. We can do better!

In addition to sharing my experience coming out as queer at the ripe ol’ age of 37, I’ll share the stories that are giving me hope about authenticity in the workplace.
